New locations keep popping up everywhere—we say Bucharest is having babies! This spot is my favorite—they have a wide seating area so it’s not just grab and go. They specialize in chicken shawarma and let me tell you, they don’t skimp on the meat, either. I love their chicken shawarma salad, too. I ask for extra romaine, it costs about 50 cents. My friend Fame recently turned me on to their corned beef shawarma, which I didn’t even know they had! And it’s so freaking good—messy and juicy! I love that. It’s like a corned beef sandwich wrapped up like a shawarma with the mustard, slaw, and cheese in there, and I think a few tomatoes, too.
