Alcúdia's market is one of the most important on the island due to its atmosphere and the wide variety of products; fruits, vegetables, shoes, clothes, souvenirs, leather, hippy products, hair plaits, African items, Mallorcan doughnuts, jewellery, bed linen, small animals, and a lot more. The market spreads out through the old town, inside the walls and near the Roman city of Pollentia. Alcúdia's market takes place every Tuesday and Sunday from 8'30 am to 1'30 pm. There's a bus line linking Port d'Alcúdia with Alcúdia centre every 15 minutes. There are also taxi and horse and carriage services. Car parking is easy.
