This little dive of a shop is just a kitchen with maybe 20 tables, offering a typical ramen street food experience. Order your soup, take a number, smash out your food without saying much, and leave. It’s quick and dirty and you’ll be in and out in 15 minutes, but their noodles are excellent. It opens for lunch at 11:45 am, which is when I come. My kids love the gyoza here, and the menu also has donburi, chicken teriyaki, and a few other bits and bobs on it, but in my opinion, you come for the speciality: noodles. I love the tsukemen noodles, which are thick, white, and served cold with a hot broth on the side. They’re super chewy—delicious.
