Great little local market situated right on the beach front, shady with cool breezes. First and Third Sunday 7am to 12 noon. Local produce, arts and crafts, plants, local condiments and secondhand books wood craft. I go every market day.

Mission Beach is the closest departure point (only a 45 minute boat trip) to The Great Barrier Reef. There are a few local tour operators that offer various snorkelling / diving packages!
