The owners have been in this area for decades I believe and are super friendly, they also do regular bike tours if you're interested. If you're booking during the time it's held, I recommend the larger bike tour as well, Critical Mass, it's the one I do and I LOVE it. You meet so many people and see so much of Houston that natives don't even see, just make sure you have decent stamina or have the uber app on your phone.

Go to Instagram or Eventbrite and check out 3rdWardTour. A fun way to get an intimate tour of Third Ward by riding lit (literally) bikes and listening to music. Book in advance, tickets about $22.
