There’s always a wait to get into Tony’s, but it’s a good excuse to take a walk around North Beach, San Francisco’s historically Italian-American neighborhood. There are so many cool stores, cafes, and restaurants right around here to check out and talk about. Once you get inside, Tony’s is cozy and full of wonderful smells. Pizza is king here, and comes in a lot of specific regional styles, like Romana, Sicilian, New York—even unexpected twists like “Grandma,” Detroit, and St. Louis. It’s always fun to share something new.

Best Pizza in San Francisco. You can get a slice of Tony's Pizza next door at the "Slice House".

This is the part of the neighborhood sometimes called "Little Italy" Tony's serves some of the best napolatano style pizza in the world literally! Tony's has won the world pizza championship held in Italy 12 times! Always crowded though, buy slices and whole pies at the "Slicehouse" next door
