This is local area where you will find lots of local caterers. It’s a beautiful area to walk around (lots of small streets between the canals). On Saturday and Monday you will find flea-markets at the Noordermarkt, Jordaan. Behind the Noordermarkt you will find the Haarlemmerbuurt with also lots of shops and restaurants.

This used to be the home to the working class. Nowadays it’s one of the most expensive parts of Amsterdam. You’ll find the Anne Frank House next to Westerkerk. On Saturdays there is an amazing street market at Noordermarkt & Lindengracht
