Really good Sunday roast and the staff are warm and welcoming, particularly to our furry friends as they recently won the award for the most dog friendly pub in the UK.

Its off the beaten track and they sometimes have live music, they serve good beer/wine & food. It has a great atmosphere. We like to have Saturday lunch, after walking the dogs around the lake opposite
