Well, what to say about Spring Ho. (no, not that ho...!!) I have heard that the name was derived from a sort of "tally ho" sort of way...and that Spring refers to the natural springs that are all over this area, which I'm sure was quite a thing back in the hot summers of the wild west. So, the festival runs the entire week AFTER the week of July 4. From Monday- the following Sunday there are shows, kids activities, parades, booths for shopping, BBQ cookoff, street dances- fun for the whole family! Pretty much everyone comes home for Spring Ho! Book your room soon, everything fills up.
