Bill Monroe is considered The Father of Bluegrass. He purchased the 55 acre park in 1952, and began holding the annual Bluegrass Festival, which is still held at the same location today. Stop in to see us at the main building which holds the Camp Store and Gift Shop, as well as the museum - where you will find suits, dresses, instruments, photos and other historical items. The historic stage is located in the center of the campground. Firewood, ice, golf cart rentals and retail items are all available at the Camp Store.
