Walk down Byron street (away from Nepean Highway) and within minutes you will find yourself alongside one of Elwood's best kept secrets...the Elwood Canal (officially known as Elster Canal). The Elster Canal path winds through Elwood and is popular with walkers, joggers, runners and cyclists alike. There are benches to sit and watch the ducks and enjoy the local birdlife.
