This is our first stop grocery store, especially if we are going to be in town for a few weeks. Less expensive than the more Americanized Auto Mercado, but a bigger selection than the other local grocery stores.

The Super Luperon is one of 3 large grocery stores in Playas Del Coco. Here you can find many of your "I forgot to bring my...." items from toothbrush to flip-flops to pillows. The store is clean, the prices are comparable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. A lot of locals, as well as transplanted ex-pats, shop here.

There's a Luperon market close to the home in the Pueblita Norte complex.

Good place to get your groceries, it is the locally owned grocery store.
