I’m a pretty hard judge on gluten-free “from scratch” food since a large part of my career involves making just that. But Amara does it right. You can taste the freshness in every bit of their food, and their brunch and lunch menus are equally interesting. There’s also a huge paleo selection for those following that path. For breakfast, get the paleo pancakes (with “the works” if you eat meat). It’s pancakes made out of flax seeds and egg whites and with a vegan maple butter topped with prosciutto. No joke, good. For lunch, get the teff tacos. They’re GF, vegetarian, and amazing.

Great house nut milk latte. Amazing gluten-free and paleo pastries that do not sacrifice taste. Our favorite neighborhood brunch spot. It is off the beaten path, on a quite street and easy to get a table on the weekends.
