Extending out into the Gulf of Mexico, the 61st Street Fishing Pier offers fun for both families and fishermen. You may bring your own rods and bait, or rent or purchase supplies in the bait and tackle shop. (A fishing license is required to fish, A temporary license can be purchased at Academy Sports, Wal-Mart, or online from Texas Parks and Wildlife) In addition, they have a viewing deck for those who just want to observe and enjoy the view and actions of the fishermen. Snacks, soft drinks, beer, and margaritas are offered. Located at 6101 Seawall Blvd
