Water fun in the Pearl District! Highly popular with kids and families, Jamison Square Park is best known for its unique fountain. Modeled after a shallow tidal pool, water cascades from stone joints into low pools as the fountain continuously recirculates treated water with energy efficient pumps and motors. The park’s numerous benches make this an especially popular spot during lunchtime, summer evenings and on weekends. Look for “Rico Pasado,” a sleek red granite bear by artist Mauricio Saldaña and the whimsical “tiki totems” by artist Kenny Scharf.

If you have young ones, this park has a great water feature that the young kids love.
The wading pool at the Pearl District’s Jamison Square is perfect for babies and toddlers, while young kids and tweens will enjoy dangling their feet in the rivulets of water that replenish the pond. Located on the Portland Streetcar line, Jamison Square is easy to access, and there’s even an ice cream shop (Cool Moon Ice Cream) across the street.
