"Yamamoto Noh Theater" is in Osaka's office town. After burning down once by fire, it was rebuilt in 1954 and had a history of about 90 years, and in 2006 it received the designation of a nationally registered cultural property by the Culture Council.
Noh derived from the Japanese word for "skill" or "talent"—is a major form of classical Japanese musical drama that has been performed since the 14th century.
