If you want to get out on the lake the Fourwinds is the place to start. They have boat rental and a great little restaurant at the hotel. Fairfax also has a huge public beach if you just want to hang out by the lake.

Jet ski and boat rentals, although I wouldn't suggest their restaurant.

Fourwinds resort lakeside marina and boat rental is literally right down the road. You can rent Pontoons, Speedboats, Party Barges and Jet Ski! They also have Windbreakers restaurant available for take out-simply park at the dock and go get your food at the resort. Most summer nights they have live music as well!
