This is a tiny hole in the wall place located beneath Black Diamond, a pumping Nairobi club. It’s both amazing and weird in equal measure, with fluorescent lighting, little tables, and a sink oddly situated in the middle of the dining area. The owners are from Thailand and just opened last year, offering Thai street food in Nairobi. The must-try item is som tam, papaya salad; it’s so spicy you’ll cry. Cool off your burning mouth with a super sugary coffee and sticky rice.
