This is an event space that serves art gallery, slam poetry venue, concert hall, and more. It is a repurposed church that has been painted and is truly off the beaten path. A great hidden gem to stop by and at least take photos at. See event calendar on Blind Whino's website.
This 19th century church and current home to Culture House DC, a nonprofit arts club, in the Southwest Waterfront neighborhood is sure to catch your attention. This space, previously known as the Blind Whino SW Arts Club, is also popular for events and the inside is just as eclectic, a.k.a. there is plenty to photograph.
Built in a church covered from head to toe in vibrant colors. Can you go inside? Of course! Blind Whino is a non-profit arts club and event space that features exhibits, events, live performances, and artist workshops. While not located by the National Mall, it's still one of the best museums in Washington, D.C. with some of the coolest art around.
