Gympie’s Gold Rush Festival is a celebration of our history as 'the town that saved Queensland from bankruptcy' when James Nash first discovered gold back in 1867. The festival is in October, includes a Gold Rush Parade, Gold Rush Carnival, and a community picnic day.
