A historic bar and restaurant that featured in the film Chariots of Fire. A good place for a quiet drink in the centre of town. Good choice of drinks and excellent seafood. Oysters are a speciality.
Traditional old fashioned bar - it's cool! Vintage victorian bar, one of the oldest in town. Great atmosphere and range of beers, wines & spirits. Drink with the locals in this central large bar, with small restaurant also worth a visit
Really nice authentic bar. Very grand in style. Nice mix of people. Central location just behind Princes Street.

It's up what looks like a slightly dodgy side street just up the side of Register House on Princes Street, or just off the Princes Street corner of St Andrews Square, but it's actually home to some of the best pubs in Edinburgh (see also Voodoo Rooms and Guilford Arms).
