This is a lovely pub that looks like it has been converted from a cottage. Very nice food and friendly staff.

The Chequers Inn in Thompson is a historic countryside pub (dating back to the 1600’s) tucked away in the picturesque village of Thompson. The pub offers a good selection of local ales and a traditional pub menu. (3 miles away)
