This is an excellent day trip. Take the ferry to Bainbridge and back. It will cost around $7. You got the most amazing views of Elliott Bay, Seattle and the Puget Sound area.

Take a short ferry ride to Bainbridge Island and cross Puget Sound. Shops and restaurants on the other side.

The Puget Sound area moves on Ferries, and they leave from here! For a cheap cruise on Elliott Bay, take the ferry to Bainbridge Island and back - it will run you something like $6 per person for an hour and a half of sailing, and you get an iconic view of Seattle on the way. Take a coat, it gets cold on the water.
