The Wood was planted nearly 25 years ago by local people and is the first of the Woodland Trust's.....A wood on your Doorstep. It can be easily reached by car etc or on foot... approximately 25 mins walk. Attractive Rides wind through varied trees and wild flower meadow....accessible by wheelchair. A river borders the planting.
