We loved our trip from Stoke Gabriel down to the beautiful village of Dittisham - a pint and some cheesy chips before we headed back made for a fabulous evening paddle - highly recommend it!

The River Shack in Stoke Gabriel is a nice spot for lunch. Great place to go crabbing with the kids. Also a good place to go paddle boarding or kayaking from, there is a place to hire them from there. Take cash for the car park.

This is a great activity. Paddle down the river with the tide to Dittisham, for a spot of lunch at the Ferry Boat Inn, then back with the tide to Stoke Gabriel. Seeing all sorts of birds and seals.
