Wonderful hike to a great picnic spot! Pack a lunch and head up for a nice view.

3.7 miles out and back. Easy hike. Go to the end of Main Street, passing the Baseball Hall of Fame and driving over the river. The road then curves left up the east side of the lake. Soon after the road curves up the lake and becomes County Highway 31, you will see Chicken Farm Hill Road on the right, it will have a sign saying it is a seasonal road. Turn here. The trail will be 0.6 miles down on the left, there is a sign at the trailhead. View of beautiful open Star Field at the end. Nice easy and relaxing hike.
