Listed on the National Register of Historic Places the Museum is housed in a former Le Mars school building. Five levels of exhibits, fully assessing to persons with disabilities include a school room, barber and beauty shops, 1940's Cafeblacksmith shop, turn of the century domestic rooms, antique musical instruments, religious heritage room and Loess Hills Exhibit. outside, two log cabins are on display.
