Another place we always drop by when we are in town. Satisfies our craving for local food. They serve Filipino dishes. Try the Chicken Pandan and Puto Bongbong (sticky rice) and Turon (Filipino Fried Banana Rolls)
This one is located inside the mall. They serve one of the best Filipino food. Our favorite is the crispy pata, kare kare, fresh and fried lumpia, baked mussels, pancit canton, pancit malabon, sinigang shrimp and for dessert--puto bumbong with pandan tea.
Dine Filipino food like crispy pata, fresh and fried lumpia, adobong kangkong, sinigang, pancit palabok. For dessert they have halo halo and puto bongbong with hot pandan tea. There is another Cafe Laguna in the mall. Same owners and the same good food.
A family-run business that serves up the best in Filipino cuisine, Café Laguna has become a well established institution in Cebu City. Dishes from all over the Philippines representing different regions and cooking styles are present, while a gentle ambience permeates the Filipino-style décor. Dishes like the seafood chowder entitled bouillabaisse soup and Puto Bumbong also offer up a taste of Cebu Island. It’s all about the flavour here, and the buttered chicken alone is a draw for both tourists and locals.
