It is a beautiful walk to see the tunnel that was carved through the hill. The hike to the top of the hill has beautiful views of the area.
Trail to the Narrows of the Harpeth and optional bluff overlook view. Both trailheads are located down the road from the parking area.
Fifteen miles west of here is a unique geological formation, a spine of land 200 feet tall with a man-made tunnel used to power a steel mill in the 1800's.
Narrows of the Harpeth offers a two-for-one deal: scenic views and a historical site. The park is located on the Harpeth River, right where it makes a loop around a tall limestone bluff before coming around and returning to within 200 feet of itself again. There are two short hiking trails and also put-in/take-out opportunities for kayakers.
