The Strahov Monastery, the full name of the Premonstratensian Royal Canon at Strahov, is the oldest Premonstratensian monastery in Bohemia, founded in 1143, and one of the most important architectural monuments in the Czech Republic.
Located in an old monastery, this brewery offers very interesting types of beer and also very good food. It is uphill behind the Prague Castle so it can be a nice destination after sightseeing through that part of the city.
This is a very beautiful place to visit for a stroll with Hyperborean views. There are several restaurants and pubs at the monastery, plus an utterly amazing, gorgeous library which you might be lucky enough to visit. Go to the back of the monastery and take the walkway down toward the city—this might be the most beautiful walk of your life.
