Fun area to walk around, dine, drink, and shop. Olde Town Arvada centers on Olde Town Square, where the Sunday Farmers' Market takes place from June to September. Quaint shops sell handmade pottery and crystal jewelry, while craft breweries and taverns draw night owls. Dining options range from burgers and pizza to Tex-Mex specials and Asian cuisine.

The coolest thing about Olde Town Arvada is that this community took something as grim as the Covid pandemic and used it as a lesson on making a neighborhood more pedestrian-friendly! While the no-car zone started out as a temporary arrangement, Olde Town Arvada has now made much of its area accessible only by foot. This does not mean you have to leave your car behind. There is plenty of street and lot parking available on the periphery. Park your car anywhere and explore this charming area slowly, on foot. We love the old buildings, the mix of eclectic, contemporary, and dated stores. The area has great energy in almost every season, but comes alive with outdoor music and painted streets in the summer and spring. It's perfect to take a walk any time of the day, but most places close around 9PM.
