fun times taking the train deep into the forest floor or up high on the cable cart
Either enjoy the paid attractions here such as the cablecar and railway or start the Prince Henry Cliff Walk (free) from here that leads to the Three Sisters at Echo Point or the Furber Steps down to the valley.
Journey on the world's steepest incline railway, glide between clifftops on the glass-floored Skyway suspended 270 metres in the air, descend into the ancient Jamison Valley by Cableway, explore Jurassic rainforest along the 2.4 kilometres walkway.
SCENIC WORLD: This may seem a bit too touristy and it may well be, but in my humble opinion, it is worth it! Even though it's a bit pricey, you can easily spend a whole morning or afternoon there. There are some historic elements, spectacular views, walking trails and the steep railway and the sky rail are quite memorable. Our children still talk about it!
Worth a visit, get a day pass and enjoy the scenic railway, cable car and skyway. Explore Katoomba Falls and walk through the paths in the valley and discover the history of Katoomba. Pack a picnic or some snacks to enjoy in the valley below. Check their website for special events.
