Turlough O'Carolan (the Irish Vivaldi), a famous blind celtic harpist from Keadue. Visit his grave in Kilroanan cemetary overlooking Lough Meelagh. Some very old tombstones and Celtic crosses to be found here. Take a walk from the cottage , walk to kilronan woods (or knockranny woods, shorter loop) do a loop and stop here on the way back, make sure to stop in at Roddy's local pub for a pint before you get home!

In August Keadue hosts its annual O'Carolan Harp festival and summer school. Live performances, traditional music. Winner of Ireland's tidy towns award Keadue has a lot to offer the tourist. Visit the Kilronan Holy well and make a wish. Visit local butcher Oliver McCabe and buy some farm fresh lamb shanks or beef. Plan on having lunch at Kilronan castle.
