Downtown Cave Creek is about 15-20 mins north on Cave Creek Rd. It is really cute with lots of Old West antique shops and different food, drink, and coffee options. I especially love Local Johnnie’s and Big Earl’s Greasy eats for food and Janey’s Coffee and Co for drinks and local live music.
A quirky town just northeast of Phoenix, Cave Creek is an Old West style town where it's just as common to see horseback riders trotting along Main Street as it is to see a motorcycle cruising by. It's got that small town charm where locals are friendly and excited to share their town with visitors!
Cave Creek is about 40 minutes north of the airbnb and offers a more casual western vibe with country line dancing bars, rodeos, and great hikes and views. My favorite spots include: Buffalo Chip (large country bar with live music and a weekly rodeo), El Encanto (Mexican with an expansive gorgeous patio) Ravens View Wine bar (go for happy hour after a hike!), Blue Wash Trailhead Hike (it has awesome views at the beginning and a little waterfall at the end!), and The Grotto Cafe (great for lunch with occasional live music). If you love the country western vibe, and want to plan a day trip here, please reach out and I can help give itinerary recommendations!
