Historic Jerome, Arizona was once a booming copper mining town with 15,000 people. It is now America's largest ghost town and tourist attraction. Jerome is located more than 5,000 feet above sea level. It is about 100 miles north of Phoenix. Jerome is very close to Cottonwood, so both towns can be visited at the same trip.

Want some extra excitement for a ghost town with a haunted hotel? Jerome was an old mining town built literally into the hills. There are multiple little art shops and pubs to enjoy. This is about 60 min from your stay.
