Lovely old fashioned town on the famous Jurassic coast, spectacular views. Stone beach but still walkable. Closed to dogs in certain areas from 01 April-30 September. Many pubs restaurants, coffee shops and all the usual shops.

Sidmouth - wonderful little town on the coast, stunning coastline - lots of little eateries plus the obvious fish and chips and ice cream!
