This is an old railroad line, turned into a gentle gravel path along most of the valley. You never really get away from the road noise, but you can definitely ignore it. Most of the trail borders farmland, but in some places there are wilderness areas which are great fun for dogs. They are designated hunting areas during birding season, though. This trail is great for walking and biking. Parking lots are spread out along the trail. Most require a Discover Pass permit.
