A literary sanctuary in the heart of the French Quarter, with new and rare books including, naturally, a fat collection of Faulkners. Now a private home, this house is actually where Faulkner became a novelist, and is visitable with advance arrangement.

Tucked away in Pirates Alley in the French Quarter, this bookstore is a treat! I love the selection, atmosphere and location.
