Private rocket production facility, test site, and spaceport. There is not a visitor center, you can drive out to see the rockets under construction. A great page to follow on Facebook is SpaceX Boca Chica Group. Launch information along with photos are posted here.

If you have time.... the 1.5 hour drive to Elon Musk's Space X is a must! You will have to drive to Brownsville then take Boca Chica Hwy. You can additionally stay at Boca Chica Beach to swim and view rockets!

Check the Space X website for dates and times. Best locations to view are along the coast on South Padre Island.

Space-X is located at a 20 minute drive from home. It is quite a sight and a must see. Many of our guests have already made it clear that this is one for the reasons for traveling to Brownsville.
