Fantastic walking and mountain biking a short drive away. Walk on the Cleveland Way. 20 minute drive. Contains the largest expanse of moorland heather in the uk.

There are records of 12,00 archaeological sites and features in the NYMNP . The North Yorkshire Moor is the only source for British Jet and many items made from it are available to buy locally. The rural scene, formed and maintained by generations of farmers, attracts millions of visitors each year. With lots of areas being open access it is a magnet for walkers and cyclists.
