You can’t beat the Dog & Bell. The cafe at the Albany is also lovely. The food crowd have arrived, courtesy of Deptford Market Yard and Marcella.

Hidden gem and a genuine locals pub. Serves a fantastic pint of Guinness. Well worth visit, particularly on a warm summer evening.

The Dog and Bell raises itself above other pubs. Throw in a small beer garden, a selection of board games and an unlikely out-of-the-way location and you have all the ingredients for a pleasurably memorable night out.
