For those who love wild waters and surfing, Almáciga is idyllic. This is one of the three beaches in Taganana, a charming village that has kept its traditions practically intact. Located just below the hamlet it is named after, it rivals Roque de las Bodegas and Benijo as one of the most stunning beaches in the north-east of the Island.

Famous place between surfers. Like most of the beaches of the north of the island, during winter time (October-April) it can be a dangerous place because of strong current and waves, so pay attention.
