Led by an Israeli named Adi who scoured flea markets for ornaments, utensils, and books to decorate her corner restaurant in the style of an English tearoom. Try the tea along with black rice and coconut, or the exquisite shakshuka—organic eggs poached in silky tomato, pepper, and onion soffritto—with eggplant and brie cheese. Ugot means cakes in Hebrew. On Saturdays and Sundays, they pay homage to their name by offering the cheesecake challenge, a selection of three types of cheesecake.
