This tiny box of a cafe is literally perched on the side of a ferry wharf in Kirribilli, the suburb nestled directly underneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Get coffee to take away—it’s great—or dine in on the cafe’s signature eggs and enjoy the squillion-dollar view of Sydney’s Harbour, where sailboats drift prettily by a tree-lined foreshore. It’s an egg-heavy menu—there are seven different egg dishes—but Billy’s Eggs are especially delicious. Vegetarian chilli-buttered eggs with sautéed cherry tomatoes, onion jam, Greek yoghurt, and burnt butter on sourdough bread with flaky black Celtic salt. Alas, no one knows who Billy is!
