St. Mark’s Place used to be a hub of the punk-rock subculture in NYC, and this vintage punk shop outlived the music venues. The clothes and the props stay true to the punk aesthetic. It’s loud in here, too. Sometimes I shop with my earbuds in. But it’s more than worth it if you’re looking for hardcore pieces, band tees, or anything with studs. There’s often very adult content on display, so it’s not for young kids.
