Caves Beach is well known for its namesake - a network of sea caves at the southern end of the beach, which can be explored at low tide.

There are always kangaroos here for international visitors . As well as occasional black snakes along Ryans Swamp. This is a great ocean beach for swimming and surfing when the wind is from the Northeast. Walk to Bherwerre Beach from here and climb the headland for beautiful views with a chance of seeing dolphins.

The walk in from the carpark is well worth it. Cave Beach is on the southern side of the bay and fronts the ocean. There’s a lookout to take in the spectacular view . A popular destination for surfers with the potential for huge waves and of course there is a cave to explore. Not the place however for poor swimmers.

A beautiful secluded beach in the National Park. Friendly kangaroos will greet you as you walk down from the car park. If you have a surf board be sure to bring it. You will have to pay to enter the National Park but it is definitely worth it.

Great for surfing, but you need to pay National Park Entry
