Cala Pira is located in the Municipality of Castiadas in the south-east of Sardinia on the border with the wonderful beaches of the renowned Villasimius and those of Costa Rei. The beach is a jewel of white sand that encloses a crystal clear sea with turquoise tones, all around resurface centuries-old junipers, granites and Mediterranean scents. In the background the Tower of Cala Pira, built in 1639 in granite. The interior of the Tower is still in good condition and there is a staircase that allows you to reach the sighting terrace from which you can see the Tower of San Luigi on the island of Serpentara. The beach is shallow and allows children to play safely. Despite being a medium-sized beach for its notoriety it is very crowded in summer. We also point out that it is well stocked with services. Definitely worth a visit and a nice bath.
