A pleasant walk from the Cottage, a must visit on a pleasant day, or wrap up warm with some good boots on a Winters Day and enjoy the peace and charm. Check out the local walking books for the best routes.
Follow the easy footpath to Bronte Waterfalls. A pic-nic at the side of the stream will be a highlight of your visit.
Recommended by recent guests Ruth & Mel who thoroughly enjoyed this gentle walk 30mins there & 30min back approx.
The Brontë Waterfall is a small waterfall located about a mile south west of Stanbury, near Haworth, West Yorkshire, England. The area surrounding the waterfall is mainly moorland and farmland but is part of Brontë Country. It is an area of outstanding beauty
Beautiful walk to see the waterfalls where you can sit by the stream with a picnic. Dont be disappointed with the waterfalls as they are only tiny but the walk is breath taking. You can carry on up to Stanbury village where two pubs and a park for the children can be visited. The walk is a circular and you can find you way back to the start.
