The hedgehog ice cream is a must! When the tide is out you can walk to the cafe from Porthtowan. It’s about an hours walk from The Studio.

Quite apart from this being a stunning beach (a breathtaking walk from St Agnes village) you can get decent food here. It does a nice line in chunky croque monsieur variations (seafood, veggie and traditional ham and cheese) and the famous hedgehog icecream (lacquered in Cornish clotted cream and rolled in nuts).
