beautiful forest with great trails, very quiet, crisp clean air, lots of trees, deer, and critters. One of my favorite spots in Staten Island
Great to escape the hustle and bustle of NYC. Quiet & peaceful walk through the woods
Hking trails through Staten Island hills and nature museum inside the building.
Take a short drive over the upper level of the Verrazano Bridge for a great view of the ocean, then transport yourself into the woods of Staten Island on one of the many hiking trails!
The Greenbelt is more than 3 times the size of Central Park!!!! Picturesque, with forests, meadows, wetlands, ponds and parks, there’s so much to enjoy. The hiking trails range in difficulty for hikers and bikers. Great for birdwatchers, many birds call the Greenbelt home. Go to their website, sigreenbelt.org for trail maps and information on seasonal programs.
